• Promote a positive working atmosphere, where employees support and respect one another. Social clubs and regular team outings should be arranged out-of –work hours.
• Ensure that the working environment is safe, and pleasant. Update technology and health and safety polices in the office. This will make employees feel that their needs are being taken care of.
It is important to keep in mind that improved morale will not happen overnight, therefore it is crucial that you be patient and keep up with any policies and changes that you make to promote this change. The long term benefits include increased productivity, and in turn profitability.
